It flashes over anything else on the map, but when it comes to enemies, or any living thing, it's as if they are not even there. But even then, the other problem with that missing texture is that the muzzle flash from your gun also doesn't illuminate any NPC's or team mates for that matter. Especially if you're like me, and you mainly play black ops for the zombies. You would think that it really isn't that big of a deal. I was gonna say maybe it's something that has to do with windows 10, but if it's been this way for 4 years, then that's obviously not the problem. I couldn't remember exactly what command code it was that I changed, so I just copied the whole config file to my other laptop, hoping it would make the change, but nothing happened. ![]() When I got my new one, and downloaded it, same problem with the missing textures. I believe I had found the right command in the game codes to fix it, because it took a few attempts to find the right one, but eventually, I got it to work. It did when I first downloaded the game, but eventually I got to the point where I couldn't stand it anymore, and went out of my own way to fix it. It runs off of windows 10, and my old laptop doesn't have that problem with the missing texture. ![]()
